Contacts read unavailable after update
After updating my IPhone 11 to 17, my contacts not read unavailable and calling them fails. How do I reverse this?

If you are unable to access your iCloud Contacts, then we'd recommend taking these steps for a solution:
- If you accidentally deleted your calendars, bookmarks, or contacts from iCloud
- Restore contacts stored in iCloud on iCloud.com
If you weren't using iCloud Contacts, then you'd want to take these steps instead:
- Make sure contact syncing is enabled for all accounts in Settings > Contacts > Accounts.
- Check Contacts app > Lists and see if all available accounts are showing there.
- Check the email provider's website in a browser for your contacts.
- If the contacts were offline, you could attempt to restore the device from a backup: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup (This will revert all data to that backup's date/time. Everything between that date/time to now will be deleted and not restored.)
Should you continue to have issues with third-party email providers, then it would be best to contact the email provider for further support.
