Apple CarPlay with Pioneer SPH-DA230 OS16.X - 17.0.3

Hello,

I am locaded in Germany and I have a

Problem with Here we go App and AppleCarPlay on different IPhones since

OS Version 16.

On my old 6s with OS 15.7.9 and Here V 4.9.200 evereything works fine.

The voice announcements come over the speakers

of the radio and after the announcement the radio goes back to the radio

mode without any problems.

With my New SE3 or my wife's phone 14Pro each APP V is the Same 4.9.200

since os16 the voice announcements come over the radio after finishing

the announcement it does not switch back to radio mode.

Both Iphones switches to aux mode and tries to play music from ipone.

My radio is a Pioneer SPH-DA230.

I have unfortunately not found any options where I can possibly set this, the

only difference I have found is the os version.

Hey VJFRama,

If you haven't already, check the firmware on your Pioneer radio to make sure it's up to date. There may have been updates from the manufacturer since iOS 15.

If the radio is up to date, does the behavior still occur if you change your 'Announce Calls' and 'Announce Notifications' settings in Settings > Siri & Search? Announce calls, messages, and more with Siri on iPhone - Apple Support

I did a reset with the radio and now it works again. sure all settings are gone...

Hi bbesspte,

thank you for trying me to help, there is no firmware update from Pioneer since 2017, that was my check at first. and I don´t use siri. The carPlay connection to Pioneer is only by USB Canble. The Announce Calls settings is only for Bluetools Connection. I never used Siri but now I have to test ist allowed everything to sirti and I give a feedback as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, nobody is responsible for this. Everyone blames the mistake on someone else without really wanting to help. meanwhile, answers are simply generated by ki and nobody listens to anyone anymore. for me it works with the old OS version on the old mobile phone. as a logical consequence, it can only be due to the os system neither to the radio, because it plays with the old os. nor to the app, ad the version is identical on both devices. for me it can only be due to the os. and so far there has been no feedback and all os updates have kept the error.
