How to connect Magic Trackpad to iPhone
Note: As of the posted date (October 8, 2023) Magic Trackpad still refuses to connect over Bluetooth with iPhone. Apple intentionally disables this because they don’t want you to use your iPhone as a desktop computer, due to the small screen. If you need an iOS desktop with Magic Trackpad support, consider an iPad.
On iPhone 15 and newer: use the provided lighting to usb-c cable that came in the box with the trackpad.
On iPhone 14 and older: To connect the Magic Trackpad to your iPhone, you will need a lightning-to-Lightning cable. You can do this by connecting an iPhone camera adapter with a USB-A lightning cable, resulting in one that has a lightning connector on both ends. Then, connect the trackpad and the iPhone.
Note: in order to see the cursor, you will have to enable AssistiveTouch in accessibility settings.
