Language of a TV series

I want to buy a TV series on Apple TV. However, I actually am offered 3 different versions. In my case it is Homeland and the three versions are:

a) Season 1

b) Season 1 (subtitled)

c) Staffel 1

i would like to buy it in English as main language but also have the option to use German as alternative answer (or at least as subtitles).

Now I would like to know which of those versions is exactly what I want? In other words, if I buy Season 1, is it only English? Or if I go for option b) what are the other languages? Or option c) is it only in German?

sorry for the question but unfortunately I only get a general overview of the series but not any hint on which languages are included in which version…

Good of you to notice before buying! Not everyone does …

For users that access the German iTunes Store, it seems (a) would be original language, (b) would be original language with german subtitles, and (c) would be dubbed in German. Not sure why they chose to offer separate language editions for many (all?) TV shows; I don’t see a technical necessity for that.

If, after purchasing, you notice unforeseen issues with language support, then contact the iTunes Store staff about that.
