Keep getting pop up virus warnings

I keep getting pop up Trojan virus warnings in the upper right corner of my computer screen. They only appear for a moment and then disappear.

Pop up virus warning I am getting a pop-up in the top right corner of the screen warning me of a trojan virus. It's made to look like it's from Apple with the System Setting icon, but I ran Malwarebytes and it doesn't say I have a problem. See the attached screenshot of one of the pop-ups. They don't always say the same thing, but they're all clearly trying to get me to click. Can anyone help me?

Pop-up fake virus warnings with example John Galt: Thank you for the detailed reply, but the examples you showed are not the kind of virus warnings I'm getting. I'm getting tiny pop-ups in the upper right corner like this: I have not, of course, clicked on any of these. I do recognize that they are click bait trying to prompt me to open something that actually WILL infect my computer. They come in every few minutes, sometimes two or three on top of each other, even when my browser (Safari 17.1.2) is closed and I am not online. All instructions I find for getting rid of them say to go to Sarai > Settings and follow further instructions from there. However, I do not find any Settings tab anywhere in Safari, so I'm stymied even at the outset. This is all I see in the Safari menu. So I'm still stuck with no solution for getting rid of these annoying popus that come up every 10-15 minutes.

Are you able to provide a screenshot? Are the notifications coming from a website or are they coming from an antivirus app you have installed? It it’s the former, leave the website and ignore them. They are fake. If it’s not that, then I’d probably need more details to be more helpful.
