My Trash-iCloud mailbox has somehow been moved to 'On My Mac'. How do I move it back?

On my macOS Sonoma 14.0 iMac, my iCloud trash mailbox in the Mail sidebar has somehow been relocated to the 'On My Mac' section of the sidebar, and I don't know how to move it back.


If I simply try to move it by clicking on it and dragging it, it will drag, but there are no horizontal drop lines in the spaces between mailboxes in the iCloud part of the sidebar, and when I release the trash icon, it merely bounces back to its 'On My Mac'. location. Need some help.
