Voicemail disappeared after last 2 updates on my iPhone 14 Pro.

iOS 17.4.1 was just released. It may fix this issue.

With the latest iOS software update, voicemails have now returned. Hopefully everyone else has the same experience.

I'm experiencing the same thing. Both my mom and dad. I've had them for over 10 years and poof! Gone!!!!

I have no voicemail since my iphone11 updated. Tried everything recommended. Sky told me it’s a software problem so what do I do?

I reset my network settings and it seems to have resolved the problem. I can't remember when I updated to the latest IOS but maybe it restore it to shortly before that update.

But I've been having an issue with delayed voice mail notifications for a while.

Did you find a way to get them back? I woke up to missing voicemails that were there two days ago. Only voicemails from the past month. Nothing in deleted section. I had voicemails from my Dad who passed

If you don’t mind, would you tell me what worker to get your voicemails back? I have messages from my grandpa that just passed away on Christmas that I would do anything to have back. Please let me know. Thank you so much

I am also having this problem, along with many others, since the last update.

A voicemail that is evidence in a formal complaint has been deleted by my iPhone despite definitely being saved. Not as important as some stories on here but still significant.

I am yet to try turning off “live voicemail” as I can’t find this in my settings? I am using an iPhone 11?

This just happened to me a little bit ago. Nothing works. I always have live voicemail off so that’s pointless for me. Rebooted phone. Nothing. Was fine earlier. Bad enough with the ongoing iCloud files issue and now this. Every bloody update something goes wrong.

In the past, I’ve not experienced many discussion forums where the advice given has helped my situation. This comment may be the very first one that has actually fixed my issue. I followed the advice and my mysteriously-gone voicemails came back! Thank you so much!!

For some reason every single voicemail from this year & all of 2023 disappeared. It’s only showing messages from 2022 & the years before that…. It’s really weird because I know someone left a voicemail today, but when I went to check it, it wasn’t there! & that’s when I realized soooo many messages have disappeared!! I did just recently do the last iOS 17 update or whatever, so I am assuming that has something to do with it, since apparently the same thing has happened to a lot of other people! I checked my iCloud & can’t find any saved voicemails, so I have no idea what to do to restore them to my iPhone!! This is really upsetting because I had sentimental & other important voicemails that are now gone….☹️ PLEASE HELP 🙏🏼

Well did 17.3.1 upgrade. Last time lost voicemail. This time have lost some of my iMessage convos. Not all just some. Everyone on the convo had either lost all messages or partially. Looked in deleted messages not there. Turned on off, toghled app. Nothing

I'm having the same issue. I've followed the steps from the thread. Furthermore, I have also been on the phone with the Apple Support Team and my mobile carrier, and they can't figure it out. I lost all my voicemails, and I am not getting them anymore. This is devastating.

I wanted to let everyone know that I turned off the live voicemail switch-off (go to Settings > Phone > Live Voicemail (off). I didn’t recover my old voicemails. But it is working now.

The way to recover them is by deleting the phone and restoring it from an old iCloud backup. There is always the risk of not recovering the latest stuff, and also not being sure about that outcome. I haven’t decided what to do. Hope that this helps.
