Money was debited from account but order was not placed

I ordered a homepod mini and a apple tv 4k on 9 October 2023, I payed through UPI for the above order on apple online store but my order wasn’t placed nor did i received any order confirmation mail, i tried contacting apple customer care they said that my money is stuck between payment gateway and apple is trying to capture it, once Apple successfully captures my money my order will be placed or my money will bounce back to my account in next 7 business days. I want to know what usually happens in this scenario if the order gets confirmed or the customer gets the refund and how much time this process actually takes ?

You ask the impossible of us. We are not Apple but rather end users like you with zero access to Apple records or those of your financial institution. We can't begin to guess the process or the time it takes.

Did you order from the US Apple Store from a non-US location? Alpple does not ship from the US Store to freight forwarders or non-US addresses. See this Shopping Help article:

focusing on the section, "Shipping Policies." That policy is rooted in US Export of Technology regulations, not Apple's whim.

As every such case is different, I don't think you can get a definitive answer here from another user who found themselves in the same situation. Keep working with Apple and your payment gateway.
