Can’t seem to use an icloud.com login instead and route via me.com…….. incredibly difficult to use a simple email function!!!

You don't need to set up a me.com email in the Mail app on your iPhone in order to access that email account. Since the me.com email address is an alias of your actual iCloud account, you'll want to sign in with the iCloud account and then turn on Mail in Settings.

Please help! Just need to setup my me.com email address on to a new iPhone, but don’t seem to be able to get anywhere with settings etc.
