Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! You can access the magnifier for a photo using the markup tool. Find the guidance to do so below from the article Zoom in or magnify in Markup on iPhone - Apple Support
- In the Markup toolbar in a supported app, tap
- Tap Magnifier.
Note: If you don’t see the Markup toolbar, tap 
or Markup. If the toolbar is minimized, tap its minimized version.

No technical question…. Just want the feature back!!!
The feature is actually gone. There is no magnifier.
Looks like many of us have already figured it out, thanks. More useful and worth mentioning would be an app or a workaround for a similar function.
yes, I know, I was replying to LeleN1 that it is gone. Seems to be no work around.
