Pictures not showing on iPhone 14 Pro

Hi,


I have recently updated my software to iOS 17.03 on my iPhone 14 Pro and I am not sure if it is because of the software update but some of my pictures and videos in my gallery is not showing.


It is in a very delayed download mode where the pictures starts showing one by one over a couple of hours (still a lot not showing). It’s not my entire gallery pictures/videos, only pictures and videos that I took from March until the end of June this year. Anything beyond June up to date shows.


I have tried restarting my phone, my network connectivity is good, so I am not sure why this is happening.


Any recommendations?

Hello Zaylia,


If your pictures are not visible and they're downloading from somewhere, then that would mean you have them stored in iCloud and the device is having some issue commenting with that. Go to Settings > name at the top > iCloud > Photos and turn off the Sync This iPhone option. Wait a few seconds then turn it back on.


After that, give it a few minutes then check to see if your pictures start appearing in the Photos app.


If you're still unable to view the pictures, you'll want to contact Apple to report the issue: Get Support
