Removing status badges from lock screen

Hello! My lock screen has two persistent badges on it, one from Pocketcasts. One from FB Messenger. Both just tell me current app statuses (“nothing playing at the moment”, “you’re all caught up with messages”, etc.). I want to remove these but have had no luck finding the correct setting. It’s not Lock Screen notifications but some kind of persistent badge or widget. Image below

If it's a widget, long-press the Lock screen to activate the edit mode, tap "Customize", tap the Lock screen on the left, tap the widget and tap the "-" icon to remove it.
