Apple TV app isn’t playing on Samsung smart Tv

Apple Tv app isn’t streaming properly. It either doesn’t post or stops playing and won’t work again. All my other streaming services are fine so I am sure it isn’t my Wi-Fi connection.


I have switched the Tv on and off several times, but it doesn’t make a difference. Has anyone had the same experience?

To get started, have you had a chance to go through all the steps listed in the 'Related Article', If you can't watch or stream movies and TV shows in the Apple TV app that was shared on this thread?


If so, it may be helpful to try resetting the Apple TV app. For steps on how to do this, check out this next link here: Reset the Apple TV app - Apple Support


If you’re having problems and the Apple TV app still doesn’t respond after restarting, try resetting the Apple TV app. When you reset the Apple TV app, all data is erased, including your accounts and configuration.
1. In the Apple TV app TV app, navigate to Settings. 
2. Go to Reset, then select Reset. 
3. Resetting the Apple TV app restores it to original settings and removes your personal information, TV shows, and movies from the smart TV.

Hello, I was having the same issue with my Samsung tv and was able to talk with someone in chat about it 2 weeks ago, they told me their senior advisors are aware of the issue and were working on a solution. I had been able to watch movies since last year until 2 weeks ago when I would continually get the buffering wheel and then the message that said," Video not available". I talked with tech support yesterday and they told me that the senior advisors said the Apple Tv+ app is not working on Samsung, Roku and Brava Tv's. Looking at some of the other chats in the community it looks like there's a bigger problem with the Apple app.
