iphone messages app contact call default calling facetime instead of mobile

I had a few contacts that this happened for. When you're in messages and click a contact's name and then call, it would use facetime by default.

The answer to this is to long press the call button and select mobile. It will then default to that going forward.

If mobile doesn't show up as an option, go into contacts and delete the mobile number and re-add it and that should fix it. I've read that you have to be sure it's in as "mobile" and not "iphone" as well.

Previous posts said that you had to delete the contact and add them back, but that doesn't appear to be necessary.
