iOS 17.0.3 Battery Drain & Overheating

Sadly, this is the worst update I have experienced in years, by any company. Apple is well aware and as with most companies these days, they rushed out a low quality product, I am sure to meet some schedule. Apple, do better and fix this buggy trash please. We pay a lot of money for your products, do the right thing and honor that. Please do not reply to this with your lame “adjustment” or “setting” suggestions or try to explain yourself out of the corner. You messed up, own it, fix it.

I have had my iPhone 15 for about a month now and never had issues until last night. My battery would last 1 day or more without a charge (and I only had it charging to the 80%). My phone is now ridiculously overheating since last night when I was on FaceTime and now I have been playing Spotify in the background (no other apps running) and my phone is overheated and my battery went from 79% to now 22% in less than 2 hours. Insane. I would listen to Spotify in the background just as of last week and did not have these issues and I have the most up to date iOS. Anyone have any suggestions or updates?

My iPhone SE Gen 2 suffering battery issue. Charged last night, then unplugged and unused until this morning, battery dropped to 45%. No apps were open. This seemed to have happened after the latest update (iOS 17.1.1)

After updating to 17.0.3 my iPad Pro is massively overheating and battery is draining so fast

It is definitely getting worse. Mine dropped 30% overnight with no activity.

My iPhone Xs never used to overheat and after downloading 17.0.3 it is continuously overheating, the performance has slowed dramatically and my battery discharges faster than ever… What can I do?

My too is a iPhone XS and are battery drain very fast, not is during 3 hour after of updated version to 17.0.3.

The Apple hasn't solutions so now.

I’m having the same problem with my 14 PM. The battery life was amazing until 17.0.3. Now I have to charge it twice a day. Overnight it drops 20 to 30%. Ridiculous.

After updating iOS 17.0.3 my iPhone XR’s battery is draining very fast.

Same here. I am concerned that if this drain continues, I will have to replace the battery!!!
