I want to delete my Game Center account.

I agree. I signed up but was never notified the account is not deletable. Never use it, disabled Game Center yet still get annoying sign in messages in apps. Apple never notified anyone that the Game Center account is tied to your entire identity. Then you would have had a choice.

just go to settings scroll down to Game Center then scroll down and hit sign out

Update: 11/2024 I am on a new iPad and the latest OS. You cannot turn off the game center as we used to. You must go into each game app, then into Siri and close everything from there. I did leave “show app on My Home screen“. Siri is the one sharing all of your personal information not the Game Center. Hope this helps… Protect your data!!

Turning it off is not enough, it keeps regurgitating and signing you in again, over and over. I would like to have the option of forget me forever.

Your instructions for dealing with the unwanted Game Center is a lie. Almost every new update forces us to deal with it. Delete it!! No one uses nor wants it. It’s a waste of resources.

I’ve written multiple post on how you can’t turn Game Center off. Yes I explained how Apple is too arrogant to allow this. This discussion promptly deleted all of my post, which proves my point!!
