I want to delete my Game Center account.

I agree. I signed up but was never notified the account is not deletable. Never use it, disabled Game Center yet still get annoying sign in messages in apps. Apple never notified anyone that the Game Center account is tied to your entire identity. Then you would have had a choice.

Your Game Center account is your Apple ID which is also tied to your iCloud account. To delete your Game Center account would be deleting your entire Apple ID and iCloud information as seen in your related articled How to delete your Apple ID account.

If you no longer want to use Game Center you can sign out of it:

• On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Game Center > Sign Out
• On your Mac, go to System Settings > Game Center > Sign Out.

If you want to delete the data from your games on iCloud go to:

• On your iPhone or iPad, Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > [App] > Delete Data from iCloud
• On your Mac, go yo System Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage (Account Storage) > [App] > Delete Data from iCloud

Turning it off is not enough, it keeps regurgitating and signing you in again, over and over. I would like to have the option of forget me forever.

I want to cancel game account. There are games on it I never played???

Update: 11/2024 I am on a new iPad and the latest OS. You cannot turn off the game center as we used to. You must go into each game app, then into Siri and close everything from there. I did leave “show app on My Home screen“. Siri is the one sharing all of your personal information not the Game Center. Hope this helps… Protect your data!!
