Name Display When Placing Calls
I need to know how to change how my name is displayed when calling new contacts

We're grateful that you posted here so we can help you figure this out.
We think that what you'll want to take a look at is editing your contact card, which you can do by following the steps here: Add or edit your contact info and photo on iPhone - Apple Support. This is a way to customize what your contacts see when you call. Now, if you're calling folks who aren't in your contacts, then you likely will want to contact your carrier to discuss your options for what Caller ID will show when you call someone new.
