If I am calling a friend and they are on call with someone why does my iphone not show call waiting,same goes for call forwarding if someone's call is forwarded to another number or goes to boicemail why does it not show on my iphone??

Hi, actually I have found out today it's just a feature that iphone doesn't have.
I have called apple support and my carrier.
Iphone doesn't show you on your screen when your outgoing calls are waiting or when they are forwarded to the recepients voicemail.
I have done my research, unfortunately don't know why none of the tech support people didn't just tell me that iphones don't have this basic feature 🤷🏽♀️

That would be something you would need to check with your carrier about. Your carrier would be able to handle all call related issues.
