Subscript Shortcut

While on google docs, I can not use the (command ,) shortcut to create subscript. It just brings me to safari shortcut and I can not get around it. The superscript (command .) works fine, but for the other I can not figure it out. I have tried going to keyboard shortcuts or even using "Font" to change it but it doesn't seem to work.

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 13.6

Doesn't work " shortcut to apply a text style in Pages on Mac " Even though the fn key and function key both work normally, I can't change the font style through the shortcut in the pages app. Before the ventura update, the style was changed by placing the cursor on it and pressing the key (ex, fn+f1), but now it does not change. Now, it only works by dragging the text and then pressing the shortcut key. So I can't apply a different paragraph style when I start a new paragraph.

Have you tried using Chrome instead of Safari?

You should ask Google docs support too. They are the ones responsible for making their shortcuts work correctly

No, because whenever I use the shortcut it takes me to a Safari related pop-up which is connected with Apple so I thought I should ask here first.
