ESPN+/ TV provider issue

I have ESPN plus as well as a TV provider package. When I watch ESPN on my regular television using the preinstalled Google platform, I can watch the game. As soon as I try to login through my Apple TV, iPad or iPhone it tells me that the game is not available for my package or region. I have the same issue for Paramount+. I have signed in and signed out of both my ESPN subscription as well as my TV provider login. I have also made sure that I have the most updated version of software and apps. It is completely an apple issue and I don’t know why.

Hi MatthewH73,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If your ESPN+ is billed through Apple, try the steps from Manage subscriptions on Apple TV - Apple Support.

"Manage your subscriptions

  1. Open Settings  on Apple TV.
  2. Go to  Users and Accounts > [account name] Subscriptions and select a subscription.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to change or cancel your subscription."

If it is billed through another source such as your cable provider, check the Apple TV App Store, try the following from Set up single sign-on with your TV provider on Apple TV.

"Activate or deactivate single sign-on

  1. Open Settings  on Apple TV.
  2. Go to Users and Accounts > TV Provider and select your TV provider.
  3. Sign in with your user name and password for that provider.
  4. To deactivate single sign-on after you’ve signed in, select Sign Out."

All the best.
