Can't allow Alexa calendar to access Apple calendar after two-factor authentication

Can't allow Alexa calendar to access Apple calendar after two-factor authentication, app-specific password all set up. Every time I enter my apple id and app specific password it does that shake/reject thing. I don't know what to try next. I'm using my MacBook 12.6.6 and iPhone 17.0.3

Hi CAxl,

We'd like to clarify what's happening to see if we can assist. Can you fill us on what you mean by allowing Alexa calendar to access an Apple calendar? Are you trying to set up an iPhone calendar to be used with an Alexa device, or something else?

We see you mentioned app-specific passwords. The best steps are going to depend upon what's happening exactly, but this resource may be a good starting point: Using app-specific passwords - Apple Support.

Take care.

I am trying to sync, and/or allow Alexa to access, my Apple calendar to Alexa. I’ve followed instructions from both Apple and Alexa and get hung up when I enter the passcode given me as part of the verification.

I cannot figure out why the generated passcode copied and pasted doesn’t work.

Thanks for trying to help.
