Can I use Apple Pay in Germany CB with no foreign transaction fee?

Apple Pay is not a payment method. The credit cards in your Wallet app are payment methods available when you choose Apple Pay at checkout. If the card you select as the payment method offers no foreign transaction fee, then there will not be a fee.

Please understand that foreign transaction fees are not currency exchange rate fees and if the transaction is not done in US dollars (assuming you have US credit/debit cards) you’ll be charged a currency exchange fee.

No foreign transaction fee will be charged. But if the transaction is not in US dollars, Mastercard International will charge a currency conversion fee. Many merchants will do the conversion for you and charge you in US dollars. If you use Apple Pay, you’ll earn 2% in Daily Cash. If you use the physical card, you’ll only earn 1% in Daily Cash. Apple Pay is widely accepted in Western Europe.
