when is the albums feature going to be restored when attaching images to emails?
just been reading the responses from last December but it seems that nothing has yet changed. This is a very frustrating backward step.

Which mail application are you using? I can see all my albums in Photos when I am sending a Mail using Apple's own Mail.app. While in Mail composing a new mail click the Photo browser in the upper right corner of the toolbar and select "Photos". This will show you the Photos Library and all albums.
It has been possible in the Photos Browser since Ventura came out. Just do not use the "Attach" command, use the Photo Browser to see the albums in the Photos Library.
