Will Pages ever get a dedicated Thesaurus? Can a third-party Thesaurus be added?

I know tons of people have been asking for years, and at one point I received feedback from support saying that a dedicated Thesaurus was a feature they were considering, but is this ever going to be a thing that actually happens?

The current "look up" option is insufficient creatively. I use it in messages and it's mediocre at best. But in pages on both my Mac and iPhone, it's useless. Is there a way to add a third-party thesaurus to Pages? Like, if they're not going to give us one, can they at least allow someone to create an add-on that can function within Pages, so I can remove the other garbage it searches for? The lack of any decent integrated research features outside of keeping an entirely different internet browser window open to search, is just sad. The "look up" features is so slow on older models that it's useless—I can't be spending minutes waiting for it to pop up—and it doesn't allow you to click on a new synonym that you want to replace the original word with, which is what pages really needs.

As advanced as Apple is, you're telling me they can't compete with Microsoft on something as simple as a freaking integrated thesaurus????

Someone please tell me there's a work-around somewhere.
