stuck on preparing update

IOS 17.0.3 is stuck on preparing update

Which iPhone model are you using?

Did you already try to use your computer to update to iOS 17.0.3?

If you can't update or restore your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support

Also, there are a few things to check, before you update:

iphone 12. I ended up turning my off and back on, then deleted all my music to free up heaps of space, downloaded again and it was then stuck on "preparing to update" for a very long time then finally updated.
