iPad Air 4th Gen. crashing randomly and restarting with 0% battery

My iPad crashes, most often when not charging, and restart showing 0% battery for a few seconds.

It was on OS 15, I upgraded it to 16 and 17, but nothing changed.

I get a panic report for each crash. I also have like 20 thermalmonitormonitord reports, alone for today.

As described, your iPad likely has a hardware fault.


You would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad. If you iPad requires repair, you will be in the best possible place to explore your available options:
