Mac to Mac bluetooth failure

Mac's not connecting to each other.

For the purpose of workflow, I decided to use a software-based kvm system to link two to three Macs together. I used this system a few years ago with two Macs and one PC and it ran glitch-free.

  1. The problem is now I have two iMacs (2012, Catlina & 2017, Ventura) and an MBpro 2012, Catalina, which can all see each other in the connection window, but no combination will connect for more than a few seconds, code entered or not and then disconnect or disappear immediately.
