Iphone 15 over heating

I charged first time my brand new iphone15 with brand new 20w apple charger from 15%.. I noticed the below

@45% - casually checking my phone, heating too much I feared it may explode

@75% - normal heat like other phone

@90 to 98% - surprisingly no heat

@100% - no heat


I am waiting for next battery charge to check what will happen... But im feared and disappointed with heating issue at 45%

Is your iOS software up to date? We ask because iOS 17.0.3 may resolve this as described here:


"iOS 17.0.3

This update provides important bug fixes, security updates, and addresses an issue that may cause iPhone to run warmer than expected."
