Pictures are coming out darker after being taken with the front & back cameras. Compared with the iPhone 14 Pro & the iPhone 14's photo looks better. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing with their new iPhone 15s or knows the fix to this? This is frustrating since I need to take photos & videos for work.

Issues with both front and back camera. Standing in front of a bright open window. The image always looks bright in the viewfinder before taking the picture (screenshot of screen, on left) after you take the picture (on right), the image is noticeably darker. It looks like there may be automatic sharpening or clarity enhancing and that could be what makes the photos so dark. Is there a way to turn it off?
I assume you have a photo editor and before printing you check the photo and correct at least the brightness, which is something you do even when you take photos with a Nikon SLR
If you print it you know if it's the photo or the media you use to watch it, the photo editor can correct the brightness and save the new settings no need to print it
So you want an easy thing that takes a photo for you no need to buy an iPhone for that, in 2023 to take pictures like screenshot you can spend much less lol

UGH, Got the new iPhone 15 specifically because it's touted as the better camera. My Galaxy S9+ took much better photos. What to do?

just bought iPhone15 pro and facing the same issue. 😔
The only fix I’ve been able to use is the slider next to the little sun when you take pics. Make it super bright and it processes them darker to a more acceptable pic
HOW DO WE FIX THIS ISSUE PERMANENTLY?! Apple, you guys messed up how we take our pictures and now they don’t look good like they used to. I feel like I can’t upload images from Easter.
That makes it worse.
