Whatsapp microphone not working

I had the same problem but I figured it out. I was on a call and I pressed my AirPod once and it unmuted whatsapp so try this

I discovered I had restrictions set, unknowingly. Go to settings, type “restrictions” in search, “content and restrictions” will come up, turn off/on the toggle, this will reset the restrictions. If you need to do additonal check, go to “microphone” select “allow changes”. When you go back to WhatsApp try using microphone and it should ask if you want to allow access, press “allow”.

Reinstalling didn’t help in my case. Same issue has occurred to me. Mic in whatsapp only doesn’t work. Other apps are fine.

hey how can we solve this even i was on a call and pressed my AirPod, since then the microphone in whatsapp is not working

reinstalling the app does that help

Same here. I updated to iOS 17.1.1 on Friday and this issue just started today.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling WhatsApp but the issue persists.

Any solution please?
