Hello. I can't download or update apps. they write that they need to update the payment card, I add my card, and for some reason it says “To avoid interruptions to your subscriptions and purchases, verify your payment information or add a new payment method.” and everything is highlighted in red. I can't even download the free app because of this. help solve the problem.

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! We are happy to see how we can help out so you can update and download apps.

If you are having trouble using your iPhone to add or verify the payment method and you have access to a computer, go to Manage your Apple ID. You should see an option to access Payment Methods here.

You can also using a computer, go to the App Store and update the your payment method. The article Add a payment method to your Apple ID - Apple Support provides the steps whether you are using a Mac or PC.

After giving those steps a try, if you are still unable to update and verify your payment method, you will want to reach out to Apple Support by going to Get Support.
