Little yellow half circle visible around the front camera on screen iPad 12.9 3rd gen. Only visible with light background, not visible when screen background is black/dark. What is causing this? Solution?

If the screen itself has become damaged, then I think that only a replacement of hardware parts can remedy that. Is it also visible with other light backgrounds? I.e. are you sure that it is not part of the image?
