iphone 13 stopped sound notifications

Silent mode is not on. Notification settings are all in place. Yet, calls and messages don’t play or show up on the screen pop up. I do not have an Apple watch. This phone is one hassle after another!

No notifications on locked screen after updating to 14.4 iOS on iphone Xs I just updated my phone to iOS 14.4 and my phone no longer vibrates or even lights up when notification is received on a locked phone. That is the case whether the phone is on silent or not. Is this a know bug? If the solution is to reset the phone i am not really willing to do that, as it was working perfectly fine until i have updated to latest iOS. I have also checked the obvious settings, notifications, silent mode, night mode etc etc etc i also have an apple watch, which i just updated. Is it a new feature that when notification come on the watch they dont appear on the phone? If thats the case its an awful feature !

No Sound Notifications When iPhone 11 is Locked. I have tried everything I know, plus what I could find online, but I’m stumped and could use some help. All sound notifications work when the iPhone is unlocked, but not when locked, the phone call sound notifications come through for both locked and unlocked and I toggled off the Group iMessage setting, just in case. I do not know if will make a difference, but my iPhone is paired to my Apple Watch which vibrates when notifications come in. My iPhone is updated with 13.3. Any further suggestions? Thanks, Rick

Thank you for your help.

It took time to find where to reset.

I also found during that search, there was a call announcement feature that was turned off. Never saw it before, and don't know why it was off.

Anyway, it appears the sound is back on for notifications.
