iphone 13 stopped sound notifications

Silent mode is not on. Notification settings are all in place. Yet, calls and messages don’t play or show up on the screen pop up. I do not have an Apple watch. This phone is one hassle after another!

Try and restart the iPhone to see if the issues persist

Thank you for your help.

It took time to find where to reset.

I also found during that search, there was a call announcement feature that was turned off. Never saw it before, and don't know why it was off.

Anyway, it appears the sound is back on for notifications.
