I was watching Netflix on laptop and pink columns appeared on my screen. I turned the laptop off and restarted it. When it turned back on the laptop was running fine with the Apple logo then the lines appeared again with a message saying “reset password” then this disappeared and the lines become more pigmented. Please bear in mind, I have never had any issues with the laptop since purchasing it in 2020 and the screen has no cracks or watermarks. Thanks

If you start your Mac to macOS Recovery, do the lines still appear? Here's how to start to macOS Recovery, just in case. Be sure to choose the correct steps for your Mac; Apple silicon or Intel-based:
