ALT + Left Click in PC, what is the equivalent on iPad with a keyboard? Option key doesn't work the same

Hi. I use a PC for work and I have a web application that allows me to hold the ALT key + left mouse click + drag to use a selection box. I've tried using the Option key on my iPad keyboard but it doesn't operate the same, nothing happens. I have an Apple Pencil that I've tried with it connected and with it not connected, Option + Left Click doesn't populate the selection box.

Is there a setting change or another set of keys that will get this to work?
