I dropped my 15 pro off a roof while working and it was broken beyond repair, had a Samsung for a week and now have a 15pro again, I can’t get into my iCloud because the number is gone as I had to get a new sim and just deleted the old number, now I can’t get into my iCloud that I’ve owned for over 10 years because I have to wait 24-72 hours for someone to tell me my information is correct?!? Why?!?!?

i got into my mortgage bank in 10 minutes with the new number through a quick phone call but my Apple ID apparently i can’t?

how did anyone think this was a good idea? I can’t even go into an apple store and show them every little piece of information they’ll ever need to prove for ‘security reasons’? This is absolutely ridiculous

i would’ve stuck with the Samsung as horrid as that was if I knew this would happen and never come back with to iPhone.

i just don’t understand, it’s so bizzare that this is a thing to begin with.
