"Location Expired" message on iPhone

It’s not a big deal resetting the network settings it’s nothing with the phone settings. But also did it on mine and my husbands phones and I still have the issue this has been prior the update. So hold off for now didn’t work for me us 🤷🏼‍♀️ Apple has no answers or help SHOCKER

I’m having the same exact issue. I have a case with support that was “escalated” for review by Apple’s engineering team only for them to suggest updating my phone to the latest IOS update (having no mention of bug fixes to location sharing services / FindMy) after providing them with screen recordings of the issue and the problem device’s system logs.

Has this problem been fixed or addressed by Apple yet? I see many of these posts are a couple months old. This problem just started for us about 2 weeks ago. We need this fixed & tech support is no help 😡

Yay! Maybe it was blocked somewhere else we’re not seeing and this is happening it’s so annoying but hopefully we can all

figure this out. Since the people that created it can’t figure it out … guess I should work for Apple… so pathetic $1500 phones. All the iCloud and things we pay for issues like this… like wow. Missin Steve Jobs extra hard.

I'm also having this issue. My girlfriend and I share our locations with each other and I also share my location with multiple family members, and everyone’s works except my brothers. For some reason every time I try to look at his it just said “peters location expired” and he’s tried unsharing and resharing so many times. We have tried blocking and unblocking each other to no avail. Please fix this apple

I literally tried blocking and unblocking them they did the same thing on their end. We checked each others email and we’re both not blocked. I reset my phone so did he. I just did the new IOS update and he can see my location but when he sends me his it doesn’t load and it says location expired so I don’t know what to do or how to fix that. Someone please help

I am having the same problem my child is on vacation and not able to share her location. This is super dangerous, how are we having the same problem in 2024. This is ridiculous Apple needs to fix this feature immediately. Just imagine how many lives you could have saved had the feature been working. My camera has also not been working I have the iPhone 12. I am not able to take pictures with my back camera and my flash light stopped working out of no where.

Was this ever resolved? I share location with multiple people in my family, but my little brother says my location just shows expired. No one else that receives my location says that, just him. I have a 12 pro max and it’s up to date and others in my family have 12s,13s, and 15s. So I’m not sure what to do as I did the reset on my phone too 🤦‍♀️

Can we get a little more assistance here. Seems quite a few people have this issue and zero help provided.

I have try many time but it's not helpful, please fix this and give us a wonderful experience. It keeps happen with me and I have to resend the location again and again for many times.

Haven’t been able to fix it, it’s been acting up since my boyfriend got the iPhone 15 plus and I updated it to iOS 17.1.1 not sure if it’s the iPhone 15 or the iOS but apple needs to fix this.

Same. It’s since the update that I’ve had issues.

Has anyone resolved this issue? I really don't want to reset my phone network if thats the only way. Any other solutions?
