Share Airpods pro so they stop showing as unknow tags?

I recently got a pair or airpods pro and while I've have them set up with my account, it's my wife who is using them. When I'm not around however, the airpods appear as unkown tags to the friends around her. Is there a way to share the airpods so they know they are around an approved user and not lost / used for tracking someone?

I see the option to share an airtag, but not the airpods or the case.

edit: her friends get a message saying something like "an airpod pro has been moving with you for a while"
