External LG monitor not connecting via USB C after upgrade to MacOS 14.0 Sonoma

After upgrading to MacOS 14.0 Sonoma, my MacBook Pro 16" M1 will not recognise my LG monitor when connected via USB C. Before the upgrade it was working perfectly, both for display and charging. What can I do to fix this?

The same issue here. I have just upgraded to Sonoma and my LG monitor is not detected at all. Charging works.

Edit: I've tried to unplug USB-C on the monitor side (I was unplugging on the Mac side before) and re-connect it back, and it started to work normally!

Same here! A few days ago, my MacBook Pro 16" M1 and my LG monitor suddenly disconnected, and it took me more than an hour for my Mac to recognize the monitor. Today, I restarted my Mac and now it's never connecting to the monitor. I really suspect that there's some bug with Sonoma 14.0. Some of my screensavers are not working properly too.
