It say firmwear update required. How do I fix this?

When I try to connect my x box controller it dose not connect and when I clock on the info symbol it says

“ Firmware Update Required

This device needs a firmware update to resolve connectivity and performance issues. “

what do I do?

Simply select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories on your Xbox for wireless updates. You can also use the Xbox accessories app on your PC running Windows 10 or 11 to update. So let me make clear what my question is: given that this support page is useless for people who do not own an Xbox or a Windows PC and linking to that page again does not answer the question, is it possible to use an Apple product running iOS, macOS, or tvOS to update the controller firmware?

Compatibility with Sony Dualsense Edge Wireless Controllers Hi, I just got my hands on a dualsense edge controller which was newly released, and I found it not working with my iPad. I'm currently running iPadOS 16.3 on my iPad Pro, the issue seems to be compatibility since it does connect with my iPad, simply having no response whatsoever when I'm using the controller. Tried restarting the controller and iPad several times, resetting, nothing worked. Sony has no announcement on the problem saying there's no compatibility issue. So...is this just me or will there be a fix on the upcoming OS updates?

Per the support article you arrived here from: If a software (firmware) update is available for the controller, get it from the maker of the controller. That would be Microsoft.
