Empty Notes in iOS

I have a habit of using Notes to create short text strings, to copy/paste into apps with more complex interfaces.

when I no longer need the strings, I typically just select-all and hit the delete key, which removes all the text. I then just go back to the Notes index. If I have accomplished this quickly enough, there's no residue. If I have waited too long (not sure how long, but definitely under a half

hour, I find a note, named "New Note", which is empty.

This is not a big problem, but they can accumulate, if I am not diligent deleting them.

Welcome jonkreisler,

This is something we can definitely assist you with, thanks for posting here.

It sounds like you're familiar with the process of deleting these notes, but if not you can always follow the guidance here: Use Notes on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support. With regard to this feature itself, you can leave feedback for the developers of future iOS and Notes app updates by heading here: Product Feedback - Apple. We can't say if this will make its way into a future update but it's definitely the best option for sharing your insight.

Thank you for being a part of the community here. We hope this information helps!

Best wishes.
