Every time I press shuffle on the music app, the music cuts off for a split second. I tried restarting, disconnecting any headphones or bluetooth devices but it happens even through the iPhone’s speaker.

Thanks for following up! Since this is only happening with Apple Music and you're on the latest iOS version, try deleting the Music app and then re-download it from the App Store: Delete built-in Apple apps from your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch - Apple Support
Keep in mind that when you do this, any content downloaded for offline play will be deleted, so you'll need to re-download after you reinstall the app.

I deleted and reinstalled the music app. It worked, thank you so much! If it reoccurs, I’ll reach out again.

That is correct, it happens whether the music is downloaded or not. I’ve tried it on different platforms and it seems like it’s just Apple Music. This has been happening prior to iOS 17. I’m also updated to the current software 17.0.3.
