Community Camera On Apple TV

So recently I started using the FaceTime on Apple TV and using my iPad Air as the camera and a picture wouldn’t show up at all it was just black and on my iPad it wasn’t working. I know I’ve updated it to 17.0.3

and it’s still not working. My dad recently came over and tried it with his iPhone and it worked fine

Any suggestions

Continuity Camera on iPhone with Apple TV Not Working - Black Screen When trying to do a FaceTime call on my Apple TV 4K (Updated to latest software) and connecting my iPhone 15 Pro Max (also updated to latest software), the continuity camera does not work. I can make it to the step when my phone prompts me to allow the continuity camera, then gives me instructions to place the camera near the TV (back facing me) in landscape orientation. The feed that shows what my camera is seeing remains black. It gives me the option to skip the step and proceed to a FaceTime call, but the other caller only sees a black screen for me. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps: Trying other devices - I have duplicated the same bug on both of my Apple TV 4Ks and on my wife's iPhone 12 Pro Max. Restarting all devices - both iPhones and Apple TV's I've confirmed all devices are on the same WiFi network I've updated all devices to the latest software - both phones and TV's I've tried multiple positions for the iPhone when trying to set up continuity (camera module up, camera module down, different pitch angles - some have reported finding a "magic" angle but I have not found such a position). I've verified there are no objects blocking the camera I've verified the Continuity Camera setting is turned on in both iPhones. Any solutions or other troubleshooting ideas besides the one above would be appreciated.

Continuity Camera on iPhone 15 Plus not working with Apple TV 4K I have an iPhone 15 plus on iOS 17.0.2 and an Apple TV 4K on the latest OS too. FaceTime camera continuity does not work, a blank screen appears instead of what the camera is pointed at. Partners iPhone 11 works fine though. Ive restarted the Apple TV, iPhone, checked if continuity is turned on.

Issues with FaceTime IOS 17 and my TV So I open the FaceTime app on my Apple TV and go through the setup procedure. However, it is not showing me in preview mode on the tv screen before I dial someone. When I do dial someone, they just see a pic of me when the connection is made, but they're not seeing me. I can see them fine. I see a little green dot in the upper right corner before I dial them which makes me think the camera is working but then when I do dial them, it turns orange. I see them, but no smaller screen shot of myself in the corner. Any thoughts? Running latest version of IOS 17 on iPhone 12 Pro and latest updates on Apple TV.

Use FaceTime on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later) - Apple Support

For FaceTime support on Apple TV, you will need an Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later), tvOS 17 or later, and a supported model iPhone or iPad with OS 17.x or later, for ‘Continuity Camera’.

Note: ‘Continuity Camera’ requires one of the following: iPhone XR or later (including iPhone SE 2nd generation) with iOS 17; iPad (8th generation and later), iPad mini (5th generation and later), iPad Air (3rd generation and later), iPad Pro 11-inch (1st generation and later), or iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation and later) with iPadOS 17.

Both devices need to connect to the same home network, with Bluetooth for proximity detection.
