After transferring information directly from my old iPhone to new iPhone 15 Pro Max my Apple ID shows correct information except for the photo/emoji which has someone else’s name associated with it. The person is not well known to me, but is in my contacts. I cannot change it. Ideas?

Try going to Contacts, click on “My Card” (it should be all the way at the top above the A’s category), then click the edit button(top right), you should be able to change your name there. You might also be able to change it by click on “My Card” in contacts then clicking on “Contact Photo & Poster”
No, my name shows correctly “Andy” under the picture, when I click on the picture the screen shows my picture but “Mick” as the name. In Family it shows me as “Mick” and in Contacts it shows “me” next to the Mick contact, not mine.
