I purchased an Apple TV-box 2 gen. The apps are working fine on my Samsung Tv. I can also mirror YouTube videos from my iPhone to the AppleTV. But I am not able to mirror from the Apple+ app on my IPhone to the AppleTV-box . I can see there is a connection but then I get the error message “There’s a problem loading this content”. The Samsung TV and the Apple TV gen2 should both be updated. Any suggestions what to do next?

If this is about the 2010 model Apple TV (2nd generation) “A1378”, then that will not support AirPlay of Apple TV+ content. You will need a 3rd generation model or later for Apple TV+ support.
If this is about the 2021 model Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) “A2169”, then that should support AirPlay of Apple TV+ content just fine. It wouldn't need AirPlay, as the on-device app brings the same, but you can if you want.

Apple TV (2nd generation) does support AirPlay, but apps and services may have minimum system requirements for the receiving device that are different; e.g. 3rd generation or later; or AirPlay 2 compatible devices (=4th generation or later as well as select third party devices).
But the support says it’s possible to stream to Second Generation Apple TV….
It seem to be the 2010 model, so haven’t been doing my home work good enough before buying. When it’s able to mirror YouTube from iPhone to Apple TV it’s cause the YouTube is preinstalled on the box?
