Move to feature in apple mail

My apple mail app would always make suggestions to move emails to a specific folder. It has stopped working on my iMac desktop once I upgraded to the newest Sonoma OS. How do I fix this? Thank you.

Hello sls7,

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. We see you want Mail to suggest where to move items. This sounds like Siri Suggestions. We can ensure that is turned on by following the steps below.

Use information found in Mail in other apps on Mac - Apple

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Siri & Spotlight  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
  2. Click Siri Suggestions & Privacy on the right, then click Mail in the list on the left.
  3. Turn “Show Siri Suggestions in application” On.
  4. Click Done.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
