Upgraded to MacOS Sonoma 14.0 October 7 2023 and now I cannot print any pdf files from Adobe Reader. Error Message says "The document could not be printed" "There were no pages selected to print". Adobe wants $ to convert to Word. Cannot "Select all" and copy to Word or Pages. Cannot "Select all" and print selection. Same issue with all pdf's. Work around is to open pdf file in Open Office Text and print from Open Office.
Indeed, I just found out about the Preview workaround , and it works! What a relief!
Hope Apple will make it work "normally" soon...

Using Adobe Pro 17 on my system and the same problem just began with Sonoma 14.2.1
Acrobat Pro 2015, 2017, and pre-August 2019 versions cannot be licensed on macOS Catalina or later and you will need to get the current version of Acrobat Pro for Sonoma 14.2.1 support.
This has worked fine up to and including Sonoma 14.2.0. All other features still working fine and rarely need to print to paper so will continue to use and print from Chrome when needed.
Yes. Simply delete Acrobat Reader and install new version. Solves problem and the new version is otherwise better anyway.
I found that moving my files from an external SSD drive to the Mac drive fixed the problem.
