Workout reminders settings on/off

Hello dear community members,

I have an issue with the workout reminder settings on my Apple Watch SE. I seem to be missing the option for start workout reminders on/off, and I don't receive any reminders when I start walking, etc. This issue started before the watchOS 10 was released, and I'm currently using watchOS 10.0.1.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem or can offer advice on how I can restore this feature to my Apple Watch settings?

Thank you in advance.

Hey MelFu,

We see the latest watchOS version is 10.0.2. Since they include security updates and bug fixes we recommend updating to the latest version by following the steps below or in this article:Update your Apple Watch.

1. Make sure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS.
2. Make sure that your Apple Watch is at least 50 percent charged.
3. Make sure that your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi.

Keep your iPhone near your Apple Watch throughout the update. It could take from several minutes to an hour for the update to complete, so you might want to update overnight or wait until you have time.

Update your Apple Watch using your iPhone

1. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then tap the My Watch tab.
2. Tap General > Software Update.
3. Download the update. If asked for your iPhone passcode or Apple Watch passcode, enter it.
4. Wait for the progress wheel to appear on your Apple Watch. It could take from several minutes to an hour for the update to complete.

Leave your Apple Watch on its charger while the update completes. Don't restart your iPhone or Apple Watch, and don't quit the Apple Watch app. When the update completes, your Apple Watch restarts on its own.

After updating, follow the steps in the section labeled "Turn workout reminders or off" here: Change settings in Workout on Apple Watch. This will confirm the reminders are enabled.

Take care.

Meanwhile, I have reset my Apple Watch and set it up from my backup - with the same result.

I have reset my Apple Watch and set it up as a new device, but the result remains the same.

I have reset my Apple Watch and set it up with my old backup from 2020 - yet, the result is the same.

What's even more frustrating is that when I try to search for the missing functions (screen attached), like the 'start workout reminder' and 'end workout reminder,' they appear in the search results. However, when I try to access them, it redirects me to the exact section where these functions are missing.
