Apple think I accessed to my iCloud from another location

I have tried to access to my iCloud acct twice, using safari browser on my iPhone and each time Apple verification message popped on my screen including the map of Miami FL asked, an unknown account was trying to access to your iCloud acct from Miami, is it you?!

Yes but I’m in Houston TX, not Miami.

I haven’t been to Miami, not connected to VPN. Any logical explanation why would Apple thinks I’m in Miami?

iPhone 13

Hello okay67fl,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with an inaccurate location showing for signing in with iCloud. This location is based on the new device's IP address and might reflect the network that it's connected to, rather than the exact physical location. More information about this can be found in this article under the "The first time that you sign in with your Apple ID on a new device" section: Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
