Remove full name from unlock screen for privacy in public space?

Whenever I wake my Macbook from sleep, it displays my full name on the unlock password screen. Can this be removed? I would prefer that everyone around me not be able to see my name when I open my Mac in a public place like the airport.

MacBook Air, macOS 13.6

Here are the steps to change your User Name. You do need to create another Admin account to change the original User Name and would want to make sure you have a back up first. This will change the name that shows when you log in after the computer starts up or after waking up after the screen is locked. This does not affect the name of your Contact Card which can be changed to anything that you want simply by editing it.
